Another country has approved the use of the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus "Sputnik V". We are talking about the Central American Republic of Panama. This was stated on the air of the Telemetro TV channel by the representative of the Ministry of Health of the country Elvira Lau, her words are transmitted by TASS.

"We carefully studied the information about the drug and came to the conclusion that it meets all the requirements that apply to us," she said, adding that the country allows emergency use of the vaccine.

This information was confirmed by the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF). They noted that the Russian vaccine was registered on the territory of Panama, emphasizing that to date, Sputnik V has been registered in 59 countries with a total population of 1.5 billion people.

On April 1, it was reported that China will produce 100 million doses of the Russian vaccine. To do this, RDIF has agreed with TopRidge Pharma. Such a large batch will allow to vaccinate 50 million people.
