The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement of the international human rights organization Amnesty International that their report, which recorded violations of military and international humanitarian law by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), will be checked by independent experts. She explained her position in the Telegram channel.

Zakharova wrote with reference to the material of the Deutsche Welle (included in the register of foreign media) that specialists will have to check the report of the organization and the process of preparing the material.

"Because the result should be different. The one that suits the mainstream. No one is interested in facts. Once they said that the Kiev regime does not shoot at civilians, it means that it does not shoot. The anti-scientific approach. But it is its presence that defines the current Western system as a dictatorship," the representative of the Foreign Ministry said.

On August 4, Amnesty International published a report stating that Kiev is causing "harm to the civilian population by using weapons systems in populated areas, including schools and hospitals," which violates not only military law, but also international humanitarian law. Later it became known that a second thorough study of the previously given data would be conducted.
