The Russian Foreign Ministry has eased restrictions on entry and exit from the country. This was reported on Facebook by the consular department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referring to the portal of legal information.
Russian borders can now be crossed by land more than once-this applies to Russians with a residence permit or citizenship in other countries, as well as those studying or working abroad. Also, it is now allowed to enter through ground checkpoints for lawyers or participants in lawsuits taking place on the territory of a foreign state — and exit for owners of foreign real estate in the country where this property is located.
In addition, the authorities have expanded the category of close relatives by which foreign citizens can enter the country. It includes spouses, parents, children, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, adoptive parents and adopted children.
Earlier in May, the Foreign Ministry gave the Russians advice to be careful to travel abroad: many countries, including European ones, are able to quickly change their decisions about epidemiological measures, and therefore you need to think carefully about the trip.
