The United States warned Russia against stopping the work of Radio Liberty (included by the Ministry of Justice in the register of organizations that perform the functions of a foreign agent). This was stated by the official representative of the State Department Ned Price, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, if Russia continues to take steps to close this media outlet, Washington will act in response. Price also accused Moscow of intolerance to external views.

At the same time, the representative of the State Department said that the United States hopes to maintain communication channels with Russia. According to him, Washington expects that not all communication channels with Moscow will be blocked.
