The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, again wanted to appoint his relative to a high post: he recommended his fourth cousin, the head of the administration of the head and government of the region, Khas-Magomed Kadyrov, for the post of mayor of Grozny. 28-year-old Khas-Magomed Kadyrov became the head of the administration and government of Chechnya in November 2020. He is the fourth cousin of Ramzan Kadyrov and previously served as Secretary of the Security Council of the republic.
